STUDI KASUS TENTANG SEBAB-SEBAB KEBAKARAN DI RUMAH SAKIT BERDASARKAN KEJADIAN SEBELUMNYA

Abstract

Fires can be categorized as a real threat to public health that is very important to prevent, In some hospitals that specialize in handling the Covid-19 pandemic reported many fire incidents. The cause of the fire is very important to be identified as a reference in preparing for the prevention of the recurrence of fire events. This research uses a descriptive analysis method that is a case study based on a comprehensive and objective narrative review by detailing cases of fires that occurred in hospitals during 2015-2023 in online media.  The study found problems in fire management systems in some hospitals that caught fire, especially in oxygen storage, inadequate electrical installations, fire protection systems, and combustible storage. A strong management system is needed to be able to prevent fire events in hospitals by carrying out fire training and simulation in hospitals, making policies and related documents, providing fire and smoke detection devices, and providing adequate fire extinguishers.
