Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Remaja Tentang HIV/AIDS dengan Perilaku Pencegahan HIV/AIDS di SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that in 2021 HIV cases there will be 33.9-43.8 million people living with HIV, where the average age of those with HIV has an age range of 15 years and above, thus it is necessary to increase the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about HIV / AIDS and correct prevention behavior early on. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about HIV / AIDS with HIV / AIDS prevention behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative using analytic survey with cross sectional approach. With a sample size of 190 using simple random sampling technique. From the univariate analysis test, it was found that adolescents had sufficient knowledge and poor attitudes with positive prevention behavior. From the results of the bivariate analysis test, it was found that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about HIV / AIDS with HIV / AIDS prevention behavior at SMA N 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta, with the results of the Spearman Rank test obtained a significance value of p value of 0.00 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.286 and 0.391. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about HIV / AIDS with HIV / AIDS prevention behavior at SMA N 1 Ngaglik Sleman Yogyakarta.
